About the Gateway Bike Park

Gateway Bike Park is working with Bicyclists of Nevada County (BONC) as our sponsoring 501(c)3 non-profit organization.  Any donations made to the project are tax deductible.

The Vision

Create a multi-element bike park easily accessible to all residents of Western Nevada County.

Our Progress

Having worked with Momentum Trail Concepts to determine which bike park elements would work on our designated site, we have adjusted the initial layout to fit the oak groves and the zoning regulations and have come up with a design that we are ready to take to the Nevada County Planning Commission for their review and approval.  In the mean time, we are working with a local biologist to come up with best practices for the construction phase that will mitigate any possible damage to the large oaks and the valley oak grove.  We are currently in need of additional donations to complete this work.  Our hope is to have this process completed by the end of 2020
